I describe my photographic style more as a journalistic. I try to capture as much emotion as possible so you can remember the highlights of your wedding even several years later. At the same time, I try to keep distractions to a minimum during the most important moments of the wedding day so you can enjoy it to the fullest.
Our collab begins with a pre-wedding appointment. At this meeting, we talk about the organization of the wedding day and specify the various details of the wedding. However, most importantly, we also get to know each other a bit, which makes it easier for us to work together during the wedding day. It is also possible to meet online if necessary.
I usually start my work with photographing the bride and groom’s preparations. This is usually followed by the wedding ceremony and reception. Ideally, in the late afternoon, we leave with the newlyweds for a couple’s shoot (usually 1–1.5 hours). After the couple’s photo shoot, there is often a first dance followed by free entertainment. I leave the wedding in the evening by prior arrangement. Please note that each wedding day is individual and this is only an example how it may look like.
No one was born a model. Me neither (unfortunately). Don’t worry, I’ll guide you through the posing part. Also, funny thing – those who say that are awkward and unphotogenic are usually the best ones in the end 🙂
I usually only put the camera away during lunch, when the guests don’t really like to see the photographer anyway, and again for a few moments after the couple’s shoot. But I’m ready to shoot throughout the day, and if something interesting is going on, I do my best to be in the middle of it.
When I come back home from a wedding, I immediately back up the SD cards to two different locations. Then I go through all the photos I’ve taken to handpick the best ones. I make all the basic adjustments to these photos, such as cropping, exposure and contrast adjustments, along with more advanced color adjustments, making the photos much more eye-pleasing.
All photos are shot in RAW to preserve as much detail as possible. Sometimes you ask me to give you all unedited photos. I have to apologize though, I don’t provide unedited photos. If you are extremely interested in getting original unedited RAW files, I can provide them to you for an additional fee.
Up to 2 months. 60 days. 1440 hours. I try to do my best and usually I’m quicker. However, as I pay a lot of attention to the quality of the delivered photos, I cannot guarantee a faster delivery.
This is photographer’s nightmare. Really, there is nothing worse than losing an important moment because of a technical malfunction. However, I always take a backup camera, backup SD cards and backup everything with me and try to be as quick and responsive as possible if something goes wrong.
No technical malfunction ever happened to me during a photoshoot yet, but everything is unprecedented until it happens for the first time and it’s good to be prepared. In other words, don’t be afraid, I’m prepared for this too.
This is not a scenario I’m counting on. In fact, I’m not even thinking about it. I consider photographing your wedding a huge responsibility, and I certainly won’t just call in sick without a serious reason. However, if in the most extreme case this happens, I will make every effort to find an adequate replacement for myself.
Concerns may also arise from the covid-19 pandemic. However, I can assure you that I am fully vaccinated to minimize any potential risks
By booking me as your wedding photographer, I am not counting on the wedding being rescheduled or cancelled. However, if this happens for some serious reasons, it is of course possible. Just remember that the deposit for the wedding shoot is only refundable three months before the wedding date.
The situation is slightly different for wedding postponements caused by covid-19 pandemic. In the case of rescheduling caused by a poor epidemic situation, I would be prepared to arrange a new date at no additional fees.
I would really appreciate if you would do me this favor. We’re all human, and although they say you can go five days without food, I’d rather not go on a hunger strike at your wedding. Not having to go anywhere else for lunch will also ensure that I am really with you throughout the whole wedding and won’t miss any important moments.
Please acknowledge that publishing your photos allows me to find couples like you who are interested in a wedding shoot. I understand and respect your privacy, but I assume you want to book me because you have seen some of my photos on the internet, right? If not, let me know so I can better understand 🙂
However, if you do not wish to publish photos for serious reasons, it is possible, but I charge an additional fee for this service.
